Update please!

App works great and easy to use! But please update the app so the app users can also participate in time events for holidays or for special occasions (I missed the whole valentines and Christmas one because all I used was the app and never heard of either one until I logged into my account on my computer) or please put notifications for any events happening on the site that requires to go off the app and online!
PLEASE UPDATE SO ALL USERS APP OR COMPUTER USERS CAN BOTH PARTICIPATE IN THE HOLIDAY EVENTS AND RECEIVE THE REWARDS! Or SET UP PUSH NOTIFICATIONS FOR APP USERS ABOUT EVENTS GOING ON THAT REQUIRE YOU TO LOG INTO A COMPUTER! Thanks! :)
